Customer service can make or break a purchase. Too snobby, too nicey-nice, too preoccupied, too uninterested, too condescending... Although the perfect customer/store employee interaction is difficult to achieve, it is essential in creating a store experience that customers keep returning to.
Gretta Sloane in Nichols Hills Plaza has found the magic key to creating loyal customers. When I stepped into the store yesterday afternoon, I overheard Gretta Sloane's main salesperson, Jen, discussing birthday cakes with a little girl whose mom was buying an outfit. It wasn't a surprise for Jen to later tell me, "When I see a new piece arrive, I know exactly who will love it."
Being an exclusive retailer of every designer that they sell also assists in creating an atmosphere where the customer is special—If you purchase a dress at Gretta Sloane, you are one of a select few in the state to own that dress. I like that.
Light, airy summer tunics and dresses caught my attention in the window.

Zoom into that necklace too - it's a seashell necklace by Bee Jane. Here's another:

Similar to the Nili Lotan tunic, this grey slouchy top is easily accented with a pair of Rag & Bone jeans.

Gretta Sloane is the only metro retailer of Rag & Bone denim. Featured above: Engineer jean in grey, $231.
I love this wash too:

Although you will catch me in a plain v-neck white tee at least one day a week, I love a splash bright color.

This camisole from Tucker by Gaby Basora is an understated way to use color:

You can see the colors better in this close-up:

Or add one (or several) of these beaded bracelets to a simple tee for the perfect accessory.

This is a sample of some of the last remaining remnants from the now dissolved line, Mayle by Jane Mayle, that are still available at Gretta Sloane. These are very coveted pieces. Get them while you can:
